I got my spam folder down to zero from over 7000 today. All because SpamSieve was upgraded to include coloring emails in different pretty colors to reflect how spammy they are! In Apple Mail, you can sort by color. That helps.
SpamSieve already had the ability to flag questionable emails that it wasn't sure was spam - somehow that uses a different algorithm because different colored emails could be flagged, not just the least spammy. Whatever. Anything to provide some relief.
Lately, I have missed two or three important emails. They had been filtered into the spam folder. I haven't been keeping up with reviewing it to make sure something good wasn't in there because SpamSieve is so good that it rarely makes a mistake. But I was pushing my luck.
Besides making it easier and quicker for me to review my spam folder, the colors are attractive and make the job less onerous. A little eye candy never hurts!
If you are using Apple Mail, I highly recommend that you try SpamSieve. You can try it free for 30 days. It sells for $25.
